Sandra Kinkade Hutton has more than 30 years in the air medical industry, including 13 years as a flight nurse.  She has served on the Board of Directors for the Association of Air Medical Services (AAMS) from 2002 – 2011, serving as President 2007 – 2009.  She was also involved with the Air & Surface Transport Nurses Association (a.k.a. National Flight Nurses Association) from 1996 – 2000, elected President in 1999 and the recipient of the Katz-Mason award for contributions to flight nursing in 2001.  Currently she is a board member on MedEvac Foundation International.  Sandra holds Masters Degrees in Nursing as well as Business Administration. She worked for eight years with Bell Helicopter Textron as the EMS market segment manager, and earned certification as a Six Sigma black belt.  Sandra led the “Voice of the Customer” concept definition of the new Bell 429 light twin-engine helicopter.   In 2011, Sandra was honored to receive the AAMS Marriott-Carlson award which recognizes an individual who has significantly contributed to the air medical transport industry.
