Ideas for basket themes include:

  • Sports experiences or equipment
  • Fitness fun
  • Gadgets and gizmos

Or surprise us with your great ideas!

The annual MedEvac Foundation International Golf Tournament took place during AMTC at The Golf Club at Ballantyne on December 12, 2016. It was a little colder than most of our previous tournaments, but we had a great day out on the links with supporters of the Foundation. Thank you to everyone who bundled up to join us.

Congratulations to our winning foursome: David Stuhlmiller, Lee McCammon, Jeff See and David Richardson.

They were closely followed by Mike Stanberry, Todd Stanberry, Tom Allenstein and Mike Perkins in second place, and Jeff Winters, Bob Milonja, Jeanette Eaton and Jennifer Hardcastle in third place.

The longest drive of the day went to Jeanette Eaton, and Jeff Winters took the prize for closest to the pin.

Silent Auction

Hosted by MedFlight of Ohio, this year’s Silent Auction was a popular attraction on the exhibit hall floor again. AMTC attendees walked away with family passes to Disney World, autographed sports gear, custom stethoscopes, noise-cancelling headphones, and many more great items and baskets generously donated by individuals and organizations.

Donor Reception

The MedEvac Foundation International Donor Reception was an opportunity to honor our friends and supporters, recognize our highest level donors of the 2016 fiscal year and celebrate our industry successes.

The first MedEvac Foundation International Chairman’s Award, sponsored by ASU Inc.,  was awarded to Mountain Area Medical Airlift and its former pilots Dutch Fridd and Mathew Witt for their work advancing the use of night vision technology in air medical transport.

It was also a tremendous privilege to be joined by our 2016 Patient of the Year, Kelly Carter, who had an emotional reunion with the pilot and flight crew who transported her after a car accident in May, 2016.

Program Leadership Roundtable

The Program Leadership Roundtable brought together CEOs, directors and managers from AAMS’ member programs in a discussion led by Dr. Renee Thompson focusing on communication skills in healthcare. The roundtable format gave participants the opportunity to share and tap into one another’s experiences.
