Applications for the SMTA scholarship are due Friday, Feb. 6, 2015.

SMTA provides formal continuing education for individuals (and their organizations) interested in improving their understanding of safety systems theory and the application of that theory to the practice of medical transportation. Students will gain expertise and practical skills through formal didactic and participatory sessions designed to instill creative thinking and decision-making. Participants also obtain valuable insight into real life challenges by networking with industry leaders. The goal of this Scholarship program is to provide formal continuing education for individuals interested in improving their understanding of safety systems theory and the application of that theory to the practice of medical transport. The scholarship covers the cost of classes, lodging, and most meals.

IF YOU ALREADY HAVE AN ACCOUNT:

  1. Log in using your email address and password you created.
  2. In the left Navigation Panel under “Requests”, click Apply.
  3. Click the SMTA scholarship application at the bottom of the page.

IF YOU ARE CREATING A NEW ACCOUNT:

  1. Click Create New Account on the Main Page.
  2. If you do not have your organizations EIN/Tax Identification Number, please enter 00-0000000.
  3. Complete the Contact Information fields.
  4. Once finished, you will be directed to the application page.
  5. Click the SMTA scholarship application at the bottom of the page.

If you do not complete the form the first time you log in, you can save the form and finish at a later date, but no later than the deadline.
